What is MMA?

MMA welding is very commonly used for welds that require quality and integrity. It is a slower method of welding but allows the welder to have a control of the deposit of the weld metal. It requires much practice and a very steady hand. It's the most commonly used process on building sites.

The process creates an arc via a filler rod and the parent material, with the flux coating on the rod creating the protection for the weld.
