Refund policy

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it - It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. These goods include perishable goods such as hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase which can be identified via our Shopify records associated with your account if emailed from the same address purchased from. If you are returning good from a different profile, please make this known upon returning by including the order number and/or proof of purchase within your initial contact with the BW Team.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and credit will automatically be returned/applied to your original method of payment (usually within 14 days).

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted. If applicable, you will be made aware prior to the refund via email weither you wish to accept or wish to keep the purchased product. Reasons this may occur include: products returned with obvious signs of use, any item not in its original condition, items damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error or an item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery which is outside the BetterWeld return window.

 

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund after 10 business days, in the first instance, please check your bank account again. Secondly, contact your bank as sometimes funds are held and there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

We only exchange/replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email containing your order number, specifying which item is being requested for an exchange, to elliott@betterweld.org and send your item to: Betterweld LTD, 1, Kingston Court, Kingston Fields, Kingston on Soar, Nottinghamshire, NG11 0DL, United Kingdom.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you containing your order credit code to use within the BetterWeld store.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

 

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: BetterWeld LTD, 20 Downing Road, West Meadows Industrial Estate, DE216HA, United Kingdom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where in the UK you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Politely, we request you politely understand.

If you are shipping an item over £100, we advise that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. BetterWeld does not accept responsibility for lost postage items, nor guarantee that we will receive your returned item without eligible tracking proof.
