The Weld Star ER307Si Stainless Steel TIG Wire is an austenitic filler wire containing high manganese, designed to produce fully austenitic weld deposits in most applications. It offers high mechanical strength, excellent crack resistance, and smooth weld bead appearance due to its increased silicon content, making it ideal for critical structural and industrial applications.

This wire is suitable for dissimilar welding between steel and stainless steel, armour plate, exhaust systems, and stress-relieving buffer layers on crack-sensitive base metals. Commonly used in environments exposed to atmospheric and corrosive media, it delivers reliable, predictable performance in demanding stainless steel fabrication projects.

Key Features

Austenitic Stainless Alloy: High manganese content ensures fully austenitic weld deposits.
