This ER 70S-A1 / W2Mo TIG wire is a copper-coated, heat-resisting filler wire containing 0.5% molybdenum, specifically developed for welding low-alloy creep-resistant steels that demand high tensile strength and excellent performance at elevated temperatures.
The weld deposit offers high resistance to cold cracking and is suitable for service temperatures of up to 500 °C, making it an ideal choice for critical applications in pressure systems and high-temperature environments. Manufactured using virgin raw materials from specialised steel mills, this wire delivers consistent quality, reliability, and mechanical performance.
Commonly used across the boiler, petrochemical, shipbuilding, pressure vessel and structural engineering sectors, this wire is well suited to demanding industrial fabrication work.
