E308L-17 electrodes are high-quality acid-rutile coated stainless steel stick welding rods designed for welding 18/8 austenitic stainless steels (such as grades 304, 304L, 308, and 308L) and similar Cr-Ni alloys. Their low-carbon composition and controlled ferrite content deliver a weld metal that resists intergranular corrosion, retains good toughness at sub-zero temperatures, and maintains strength up to ~350 °C.
