All-Position & AC/DC Capable — E312-17 can be used with AC or DC+ welding currents and supports welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions (depending on rod diameter).
High-Alloy, Duplex Weld Metal — Deposits a weld with a duplex austenite-ferrite microstructure (typically ~40% ferrite), giving excellent resistance to cracking and good mechanical properties under load or thermal stress.
