The Weld Star ER1070 (Al99.7) TIG Wire is a high-purity aluminium filler designed for TIG (GTAW) welding of near-pure aluminium grades. With outstanding resistance to corrosion, weathering and chemical attack, it is ideally suited to environments where material purity and durability are critical.
This wire offers excellent weldability when base materials are correctly prepared, making it a reliable choice for industries such as chemical processing, electronics, construction and food manufacturing. For heavier sections and thicker plates, light pre-heating is recommended to ensure optimal fusion and weld quality.
