The Weld Star ER310 Stainless Steel TIG Wire is a fully austenitic filler wire engineered for TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steels of similar composition and certain dissimilar applications. With high chromium and nickel content, this wire exhibits excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for industrial applications where heat resistance is essential.

This versatile TIG wire is commonly used in the fabrication and repair of industrial furnaces, annealing chambers, boiler parts, heat exchangers and other heat-resistant assemblies. It also performs well when welding similar stainless grades or for overlay work on carbon and mild steels requiring enhanced oxidation tolerance.

Key Features

Heat-Resistant Austenitic Alloy: ER310 stainless filler designed for high chromium-nickel stainless steels with excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance.

Fully Austenitic Weld Metal: Produces a fully austenitic weld deposit that is stable under elevated heat and corrosion conditions.

Oxidation & Scaling Resistance: High chromium content ensures superior resistance to scaling and oxidation at temperatures up to ≈1000 °C.

Versatile Industrial Use: Suitable for industrial furnaces, annealing chambers, boilers, heat exchangers and dissimilar welding applications.

Good Weldability: Performs well in TIG applications with smooth arc characteristics and reliable fusion.

Consistent Quality: Manufactured from high-quality raw materials for dependable performance and uniform composition.

Standards Compliance: EN ISO 14343-A – W 25 20 | AWS A5.9 – ER310.
