The Weld Star ER80S-Ni2 TIG Wire is a premium nickel-enriched low-alloy filler metal designed for TIG (GTAW) welding of high-strength steels where enhanced ductility and mechanical performance are required. Compared with standard low-alloy TIG wires, the ER80S-Ni2 formulation includes a higher nickel content - improving weld-metal impact toughness, ductility and resistance to cracking under dynamic or variable loading.
This TIG wire is well suited to boilers, pressure vessels, structural steelwork, heavy fabrication and maintenance welding, combining strong weld deposits with reliable arc performance and smooth bead appearance. Manufactured using high-quality feedstock for consistent results.
