The Binzel compatible Left Hand Threaded Tip Adaptor with Spring is a specialised consumable designed for the T150 and ECO15 torch series. In high vibration welding environments, such as robotic fixtures or handheld fabrication where the torch is frequently bumped or moved, standard right hand threads can sometimes work loose. By utilising a left hand (LH) thread, this adaptor ensures that as the wire travels and creates torque, the contact tip is effectively "tightened" into the adaptor rather than unscrewed.
The integrated spring provides constant, calibrated tension on the contact tip assembly. This dual feature design (LH threads + spring tension) guarantees that the electrical contact remains locked in place, eliminating the intermittent arcing, erratic wire feeding, and poor weld quality caused by loose consumables. Manufactured from high conductivity brass, it maintains the excellent electrical properties required for consistent 150A performance on sheet metal and thin gauge steel.
