The Titanium Ergo TIG Torch Back Cap (800mm) is a specialised accessory for high production environments. While standard "Long" back caps usually accommodate standard 150mm or 175mm electrodes, the 800mm version is designed for extreme duty cycles or specialised applications where extra long tungsten electrodes are utilised.
Engineered specifically for the larger WP18 (Water Cooled) and WP26 (Air Cooled) torch bodies, this back cap provides a secure, airtight seal to maintain consistent shielding gas coverage. By using an extended back cap, fabricators can save significant time and money by using full length rods, reducing the amount of "tungsten stubs" thrown away and minimising the downtime spent regrinding and swapping shorter pieces.
