Conforming to the ER70S-A1 specification, this wire is specifically designed for welding creep resistant steels such as 16Mo3 and similar carbon molybdenum alloys used in the power and petrochemical industries.

The addition of Molybdenum provides the weld metal with increased strength and resistance to thermal deformation (creep) at service temperatures up to 530°C. Available in 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm diameters on standard 15kg spools, Weld Star-A30 delivers a stable arc, minimal spatter, and high X-ray quality integrity.
