Weld Star Dual Core 309L-T0 Wire [15kg Spool]

The Weld Star Dual Core 309L-T0 is a premium rutile flux cored wire (FCAW) specifically engineered for high performance "dissimilar" welding. With an enriched chemistry of 24% Chromium and 13% Nickel, it is designed to join austenitic stainless steels (like 304L or 316L) to mild, low alloy, or ferritic steels without the risk of weld cracking or carbon migration.

Optimised for flat (PA) and horizontal vertical (PB) positions, the "T0" classification offers a fluid weld pool and a self detaching slag that "pops" off to reveal a bright, smooth bead. Beyond joining, it is an exceptional choice for buffer layers and rebuilding components before applying specialised hard facing overlays. Its Low Carbon (L) content ensures maximum corrosion resistance at the interface, even at service temperatures up to 400°C.
