The Weld Star Dual Core 316L-T1 is a premium rutile flux cored wire (FCAW) designed for the all positional welding of Molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steels like 316 and 316L. With its 3% Molybdenum content, it provides the critical pitting resistance required for components exposed to chlorides, marine salt, and various industrial acids.

The "T1" designation indicates an advanced fast freezing slag system that supports the molten pool, allowing for maximum productivity in vertical-up (PF) and overhead (PE) positions. This wire combines the corrosion resistance of a specialty alloy with the high deposition rates of a cored wire, producing X-ray quality welds with an attractive bead appearance and automatic slag release. Precision layer wound on a 15kg BS300 basket spool, it is the professional choice for critical stainless steel infrastructure in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and offshore sectors.
