The Weld Star ER 316LSi 0.6mm is a specialised, ultra fine austenitic stainless steel MIG wire designed for precision welding of thin gauge materials. This wire combines the superior corrosion resistance of Molybdenum-alloyed 316L with an exceptionally small diameter, allowing for lower heat input and incredible arc control.

Featuring a Low Carbon (L) content to prevent intergranular corrosion and a High Silicon (Si) formulation for maximum weld pool fluidity, this wire produces flat, aesthetically perfect beads with minimal spatter. It is the definitive choice for industrial applications where "burn through" is a concern, such as in the manufacture of thin walled pharmaceutical vessels, architectural trim, and custom marine components. Supplied on an industrial 12.5kg D300 spool, it offers the precision of a small reel with the longevity required for continuous production lines.
