This austenitic stainless steel wire features a Low Carbon (L) content to prevent intergranular corrosion and a high Silicon (Si) level for a fluid weld pool and exceptionally smooth bead finish. With 2.5% Molybdenum, it provides the high level resistance to pitting and "creep" required for marine hardware, hot water tanks, and chemical processing equipment.
