The Weld Star ER 4043 is a high purity, 5% Silicon aluminium MIG wire designed for professional fabrication and high output production environments. As the most widely used aluminium welding alloy, ER 4043 (AlSi5) is celebrated for its exceptional puddle fluidity and its ability to produce bright, aesthetically pleasing weld beads with minimal spatter.

The Silicon addition lowers the melting point of the wire, which significantly reduces the risk of "burn through" and distortion on thinner sections. This makes it the premier choice for welding 6000-series alloys (6061, 6063) and cast aluminium components.
