Weld Star ER 4043 (AlSi5) Wire [2kg Spool]

The Weld Star ER 4043 is a premium 5% Silicon aluminium MIG wire, widely regarded as the most versatile "all rounder" for aluminium fabrication. The addition of Silicon significantly increases the fluidity of the weld pool, making it exceptionally easy to use while providing a bright, clean finish with high resistance to weld cracking.

This 1.0mm 2kg spool is the ideal size for smaller workshop machines and portable inverter MIG welders. It is specifically designed for welding 6000-series alloys (such as 6061 and 6063) and various cast alloys. Because ER 4043 has a lower melting point than 5000-series wires, it produces less distortion on thin gauge materials, making it a favourite for automotive components, furniture, and general repair work.
