The Weld Star ER 80S-Ni1 is a copper coated, low alloy solid MIG wire containing 1.0% Nickel (Ni). Specifically engineered for welding fine grained, high strength steels and austempering steels, this wire is the professional standard for applications where standard carbon steel wires cannot meet impact toughness requirements.

The addition of 1% Nickel ensures excellent mechanical properties and resistance to brittle fracture at sub-zero temperatures as low as -50°C.
