The Weld Star ER 80S-Ni1 is a copper coated, low alloy solid MIG wire containing 1.0% Nickel (Ni). Specifically engineered for welding fine grained, high strength steels and austempering steels, this wire is the professional standard for applications where standard carbon steel wires cannot meet impact toughness requirements.

The addition of 1% Nickel ensures excellent mechanical properties and resistance to brittle fracture at sub-zero temperatures as low as -50°C. Part of the "Green Wire" family, it is manufactured using high purity virgin raw materials from specialised steel mills, guaranteeing consistent quality and X-ray clear welds. Whether you are building offshore platforms, industrial tanks, or high pressure pipelines, Weld Star ER 80S-Ni1 provides the reliability and feedability required for certified structural work.
