Once sprayed onto a pre cleaned surface, the dye effectively "seeps" into the smallest pores, hairline cracks, and surface imperfections that are invisible to the naked eye. After a short dwell time, any excess is wiped away, leaving the dye trapped only within the defects ready to be revealed by the developer. This is a critical tool for ensuring the safety and structural integrity of welds in high stress applications like lifting equipment, pressure piping, and chassis repairs.
